Arts Treasure Nominations
The Ellensburg Arts Commission is currently seeking nominations for the 2009 City of Ellensburg Arts Treasure Award in the Visual Arts.
The deadline for nominations is Friday, September 18, 2009.

Mission Statement
The Ellensburg Arts Commission was created for the purpose of advising the City Council on matters concerning the performing and visual arts; to encourage and promote art activities of individuals, organizations, and government agencies in the City; and to formulate and recommend to the City Council a city arts advancement program.
Comprised of seven members, the Commission meets eleven times per year on the second Thursday of the month (except December) at 5:30 pm at the Hal Holmes Center, 209 North Ruby Street. Meetings are open to the public.
The Commission provides funding for various arts activities. A Request for Funding form may be obtained from the Commission Secretary or may be downloaded from the Download Forms page of this web site.
Request for Funding forms are reviewed at regular commission meetings; requesting parties are encouraged to attend.
